Wheat Head on the Water Wheat Head Brewing Co. opens waterfront location in Kennewick’s Artisan Village.

Kennewick, Nov. 1, 2025 - The new but already deeply rooted Wheat Head Brewing Company has signed a lease in the evolving Downtown Kennewick landscape. The new waterfront space, Wheat Head on the Water (WHOW), will expand the brewery's presence along the river and offer another welcoming place for the community.

The Artisan Village is home to another beloved Tri-Cities staple, Swampy’s BBQ, alongside craft beverage companies such as Monarcha Winery and various local food truck vendors. Wheat Head’s sister brand WHOW will bring energy and vibrancy to this growing destination for craft beverages, local cuisine, nature, and active riverfront trails.

“WHOW will check a lot of boxes for our beloved customers and we can’t wait to curate another welcoming and happy place for the Tri-Cities to enjoy and be proud of,” says owner Tina Phillips.
